Saturday 28th

Attendance: 3

Dave Graham and Jim got the conduit out of the tent for Dave and Jim to continue repairing it. Meanwhile Graham looked into drilling and tapping all the radiator mounts on the radiator tanks off D5705 and heli-coiling those that needed it. After a fair amount of discussion we found all the bits necessary for him to do the job. Dave and Jim continued to cut out rusty metal and cut new pieces of steel to replace them, until the plasma cutter decided to fail. 1 1/2 hours later the plasma cutter was running again and they decided that it would be best to take the conduit outside to finish welding it on the flat table to get a better result. That had taken most of the day up so everything was cleared away.

The next working weekend is 23/24 October. If you wish to lend a hand please contact Chris Tatton
